Sally Brooks

Sally has been in the fitness industry for 25 years, running her own studio until she developed her passion for Ashtanga Yoga over the last decade. Sally lives and teaches in Brighton and India and has a profound understanding of teaching methodology, movement and management of energy in terms of practice. Sally is an advanced Yoga Teacher and will be teaching Yoga, Pranayama (breathing) and Teaching Methodology on the course.

Sally Brooks has run her own movement and fitness centre for 17 years and taken up the practice of Ashtanga Yoga for the last decade. Sally lives and teaches in Brighton and India and has a profound understanding of teaching methodology, movement and management of energy in terms of practice. She has been teaching movement and choreography, fitness and Yoga for decades and brings enormous wisdom to the training, as well as a deep respect for human nature and a delightfully realistic sense of humour. Sally is an advanced and very professional Yoga Teacher and will be teaching Yoga and Pranayama (breathing) methods and Teaching Methodology. Her particularly feminine approach to the work of the Ashtanga series, brings students to a deep understanding of themselves, without strain or competitive notions of force or speed. By working with Vinyasa Flow and taking time to fully understand the breathing as the context of all the work, Sally generates a clear and self-confident practice in her students and those colleagues that love to work with her. One of her hallmarks is clarity of instruction, simplicity of direction and excellent use of voice; all of which form a major aspect of her teacher training skills.
