Full details of the curriculum will be available on registration. Each subject is developed from an intellectual, an instinctive, an intuitive and a practical point of view. Emphasis is first on working on the 'self' before working on others. The subjects covered will include and exceed the following:

  • Anatomy & Physiology: of the Body

  • Spinal Pathology, General Pathology, Referral & Contra-Indications

  • Anatomy of the Spirit and Energy Medicine

  • Body Reading and Developing Intuitive Skills

  • Ancient Psychology and Modern Social Engagement

  • Contemporary Psychology and Psychosomatic Patterns

  • Teaching Skills using Voice, Direction & Instruction

  • Contemporary Meditation; learning and teaching

  • Yogic Styles and Origins

  • Discussion and Development of Self-awareness

  • Yoga Therapy & the Healing Arts (including Reiki)

  • Subtle Touch Skills & Adjustment in teaching practice

  • Yoga as Therapy; for Pregnancy, Menopause & General Health

  • Yoga for all Ages

  • First Aid & CPR*

There will also be Visiting Teachers; experts in a variety of related fields to deepen your practice and choices in areas of specialisation you may be drawn to.

* These hours are not counted as part of the 500 contact hours for your accreditation.
