Attendance
Yoga Registration is awarded at the levels of 300 or 500 hours respectively and while every effort will be made to assist where illness or major commitments make it necessary to miss a session, it is essential for teachers in training to complete the number of contact-hours that their diploma awards. This is part of the stipulation of the accrediting bodies.
All course handouts will be made available and assistance will be provided to cover missed work should a missed session be unavoidable. Where special arrangements have to be made, review time with the teachers will be covered at an additional cost. This will be advised in detail on commencement of the course.
This is adult education and teachers in training are responsible for managing their time commitments throughout the course. In emergencies each case will be considered on its own merits, but since the accreditation is based on graduation and a minimum number of training hours; if hours remain unfulfilled then the qualifying diploma will not necessarily be awarded until they are completed.
The Art of Contemporary Yoga School values the standards to which it has been approved, so graduation is not automatic on completion of the course hours. If a teacher in training has not been able to fulfil the work or reach the required level of practice, they will be given every opportunity to continue their training until they are ready for graduation. Cases are overseen on individual merit, however on-going training is facilitated at additional cost, should it be necessary after completion of the 500 hours.
